Luigi Sacco Hospital, University of Milan, Milan, Italy
Eclectic by nature, with activities that span from music to drama and photography, and with a background in neuroscience, Simone Pomati has been tackling multiculturalism as a challenge and an opportunity for future. The starting point is medical practice as a neurologist in a University Hospital in the outskirts of Milano, where Simone is involved also in teaching and research. The catalyst is the place, a melting pot of languages and cultures. The vision is an improvement in communication and knowledge to ensure a real person-centred medicine and care. Simone’s other research interests span from memory disorders to social cognition and neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia.
